What We’re Reading: The California Reparations Report
Right now we’re reading The California Reparations Report, a historic final report delivered by the AB 3121: Task Force to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans. This groundbreaking study looks at California’s involvement in the crimes of slavery and how African Americans continue to face problems because of slavery and its effects in America today. It also suggests a comprehensive plan for repair and restitution of these harms at the state-level.
